I noticed a big difference in feed consumption, as I was hand feeding Texel lambs with grain every day. After I had drenched the sheep with Minerol I had to reduce the amount I was giving them because they had not eaten it all as they were before. After a few days you could pick the lambs who had been given the Lignin Chelated Mineral Supplement. They were certainly a lot cleaner and their eyes stopped running. The gains we have observed after drenching our 9 ½ month old steers on weaning were enormous. After weaning, we hold our steers in our yards for three days, feeding them on oaten hay. From the yards they are released into an 80 hectare paddock for a period of five to seven days for them to settle down. During this time we observed a number of satisfying gains.
